THE CONTEST

Since its creation in 2005, the MENA Cristal Festival asks creatives to participate in the Poster Contest to design the visual support for its next editon.

The official poster for the 8th edition of the MENA Cristal Festival was judged in two parts.

First, a jury from KSA agencies (Hannibal Reaidy MD Drive Dentsu, Ahmad Bech ECD FP7, Marc Bouharb MD Grey, Nayef Mujaes CD Horizon Draft FCB, Elie Messarra MD Impact BBDO, Camille Haddad ECD JWT, Maher El Baba CD TBWA, Olivier Grateau CD Promoaction DDB) shortlisted the KSA entries and selected one finalist.

The final jury took place in Istanbul at the TAAA (Turkish Association of Advertising Agencies) with a panel of creative heads: Can Seren CD Draft FCB, Ersel Serdarli CD Drive Dentsu, Alican Savas AD Euro RSCG, Oktar Akin CD Leo Burnett, Folker Wrage ECD Mc Cann Erickson, Ceren Gultekin AD Publicis Yorum, Ergin Koyluceli CD Young & Rubicam.

The 2013 Poster Contest's winner is “Glove” by Rania Barakat from LOWE PIMO Beirut out of 116 posters from 24 agencies in 9 countries! (final poster to be unveiled shortly)

2011/2012 POSTER CONTEST RESULTS

The official poster for the 7th edition of the MENA Cristal Festival was chosen by a jury of egyptian creatives (Jeneen EZZAT - Team Young & Rubicam Cairo, Bahaa HARMOUCHE - Horizon DrafFCB Cairo, Walid KOTB - TBWA\Egypt, Hussam MOUROU - Impact BBDO, Mohamed WASFY - DDB Cairo, Karim Anis YUSUF - Digital Republic, Nayef ZACCA - Strategies Cairo) gathered during the Cairo Cristal Club seminar on June 1st 2011 in Cairo.

The winning poster is "Snowball" by Maha Khawaja & Lowie Miclat from Leo Burnett Dubai.

The posters finalists are:

1 - "It's worth the fight" by Hussein Nasser & Islam Alebiary, JWT Riyadh
2 - "Stirring up your emotions" by Ezzeddine Yassine & Sara Nasr, JWT Riyadh
