CRISTAL NOMINATION
"A Foretaste of victory"
For the 6th anniversary of the MENA Cristal Festival, we want to highlight the inspiring worldwide production work. That’s why we’re initiating the “Cristal Nomination” which aims to select the very best work for the upcoming Official Production Cristal Competition: the finest production awards.
The nomination committee will be made up of leading TV Producers and Producers. They’ll select a list of finalists from the nominated productions to go through the Official Production Cristal Competition, which will be judged in Crans Montana (Switzerland) during the Cristal Festival from 15 to 19 December 2010.
How to participate in the Cristal Nomination?
Nominating a film is completely free online, and the selected finalists can take advantage of a reduced entry fee.
All ad films (TV, cinema, web), institutional films and clips produced from 1st October 2009 until 30th September 2010 are eligible, and can be entered for free to the Cristal Nomination (films produced between 30th September and 30th November 2010 will have to go through the classic call for entries).

How to take part in the Official Production Cristal Competition?
If your production has been nominated:
- It’s easy, simply pay the entry fee (130€ instead of 220€) to register in the Production Cristal Competition. Registrations need to be made before the 22nd of October 2010.
- Your production will automatically be transferred to the Production Cristal entry registration.
If your production missed the deadline* or if it has not been nominated:
- You can still show your works to the Production Jury and get a chance to win a Cristal by registering through the usual registration process.

July: Announcement of the Nomination Committee
30th September: Deadline for submissions
15th October: Nominees and nominated works are chosen and announced (online, newsletter, on our partners’ websites, press...)
October: Registration to the Official Production Cristal Competition
November: Revealing of the Production Jury members (TV Producers and Producers coming from all the world)
February: Judging of the Official Production Cristal Competition and Awards Ceremony to be held in Crans Montana (Switzerland) from 15 to 19 December 2010.
